Von dort führt der Weg Richtung Holländer-Mühle weiter durch idyllische Felder und Wiesen über Neu Wittorf nach Handorf. Hier findet man eine weitere Holländer- Mühle, die von außen besichtigt werden kann. Außerdem lohnt sich ein Abstecher zur Handorfer Kirche. Im Gasthaus „Benecke“ sowie im „Handorfer Hof“ lässt es sich zwischendurch prima rasten. Über einen kurzen – aber gut befahrbaren – Schotterweg führt der Weg Richtung Barum über den bekannten Aalkrug, der direkt am idyllischen Ilmenaukanal gelegen ist. Weiter geht’s über den Barumer Ortsteil Horburg an der Neetze entlang zum Barumer See, der mit seinen ausgiebigen Sandstränden und seiner schönen Lage zu einer Badepause einlädt. Bei einer Rundfahrt um den See überqueren Sie eine Holzbrücke und werden direkt wieder in den Ort geleitet. Von dort fahren Sie in den Ortsteil St. Dionys, ein aus vielen gut erhaltenen Fachwerkhäusern bestehendes Heidedorf. Lüneburg im Frühling 11 frühlingsfrische Tipps für einen Frühlingstag Hurra, der Frühling ist da! Die Tage werden allmählich wieder länger, die Temperaturen klettern fleißig das Thermometer hinauf und das winterliche Grau weicht frühlingsfrischen Farben. Alte Handwerkerstraße 7. bis 8. September 2024 Im September verwandeln sich die kleinen Gassen rund um die St. Michaeliskirche für ein Wochenende in ein buntes Markttreiben wie im 16. Jahrhundert. Bereits seit über 30 Jahren organisiert der Arbeitskreis Lüneburger Altstadt e.V. (ALA) alle zwei Jahre die Alte Handwerkerstraße in der Lüneburger Altstadt . Rund 300 Mitwirkende in historischen Gewändern sowie 60 Buden mit Handwerkern, Händlern und Künstlern nehmen euch dabei mit auf eine kleine Zeitreise in das 16. Jahrhundert. © Lüneburg Marketing GmbH LÄNGST VERGESSENES HANDWERK Wie der Name schon vermuten lässt, zeigen in der Alten Handwerkerstraße zahlreiche Handwerker und Künstler ihr interessantes und oft längst vergessenes Handwerk. Dazu gehören unter anderem Bildhauer, Korbmacher, Löffelbohrer oder Schuhmacher. Viele der Händler bieten ihre und außergewöhnlichen Waren dabei zum Verkauf an. MUSIK & SPIEL Die Alte Handwerkerstraße begeistert neben historischen Handwerk mit Musik und Spielen. So verzaubern Künstler in traditionellen Kostümen mit mittelalterlichen Musik, Gesängen und Tänzen. In der St. Michaeliskirche erklingt zudem zwei Mal am Nachmittag klassische Musik. Und auch die Kleinsten kommen in der Alten Handwerkerstraße voll auf ihre Kosten.
